Teen Witch 25th Halloween

Teen Witch Keeps on Rockin' 25th Halloween

Last Modified:

Teen Witch has had an amazing run. The film had a disappointing box-office with same week competition like, Field of Dreams, starring Kevin Costner and Pet Sematary, written by Stephen King. Somewhere along the way, the film became a Halloween classic, with fans attending midnight showings at movie theaters nationwide. HBO and  ABC aired the film regularly as part of their yearly 13 Nights of Halloween movie specials over these years.

Sadly, between the film's release in 1989 and the and its reemergence in subsequent decades the original soundtrack was lost.  This video tells the story and announced the reproduction of the original soundtrack (with a few bonus tracks), at Studio City Sound, in 2007.

Larry and Tom Thank the fans and provide some historical quips.

Don't Look Back, We're Not Going That Way.

By Larry Weir

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of  Marcia Wallace, on 25 October 2013.  Marcia played Ms. Malloy in Teen Witch and was a Regular on the Merv Griffin Show. Playing Carol Kester Bondurant, she became an institution on the Bob Newhart Show. Most recently, Marcia was the voice of Edna Krabappel on The Simpsons.

Marcia often quoted her father, "No sense looking backwards, we're not going that way."  A breast cancer survivor since 1985, Wallace also used her father's slogan for her 2004 autobiography.

Our deepest condolences to  Marcia's family.
